The National Park, Nordic Walking Park and the seven fells in the region offer hikers of varying abilities plenty of suitable hiking routes to choose from. The Laestadius Trail traverses via Lappean Loma from the village of Pajala in Sweden to Sieppijärvi in Kolari, Finland.
